ECOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE HERB AND MOSS LAYER IN SERVERAL FIR AND SPRUCE FORESTS (VYSOKE TATRY MOUNTAINS)

The goal of the contribution were the characteristics - floristic-phyt ocoenological and production-ecological - of the herb and moss layer o f selected fir and spruce ecosystems in the Vysoke Tatry mountains. An alysed in detail are 9 sample areas of which 4 were in fir forests and 5 in spruce forests. Production analysis was concentrated to the abov e-ground biomass of herb and moss layer with the comparison of further Slovakia mountains.
