Abstract
Unpolarized magnetic neutron scattering data, from dilute PdFeunderbar , PtCounderbar, PtFeunderbar, and PdMnunderbar alloys, have been analy zed using a magnetic environmental model and Monte Carlo-simulation me thods. The neutron scattering shows large forward peaks at low K value s due to the magnetization clouds and to the presence of critical scat tering. The effects of atomic short range order, when present, were al so included in the analysis. The analysis allows the calculation of th e neutron diffuse scattering and the determination of the critical tem peratures of the ferromagnetism in the alloys.
