The stress and field dependence of the pinning field H(p) of ribbons o
f the composition Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 and Co73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 is com
pared with that of the coercivity H(C). The similar character of H(C)(
sigma) and H(p)(sigma) indicates a strong correlation between these tw
o properties. At higher external stresses H(C)(sigma) and H(p)(sigma)
depend on a premagnetizing procedure. This can be explained assuming a
different domain structure.
