Abstract
Dioxins have been found in everyday materials that are contaminated wi th fine particulate matter (dust). The concentrations, expressed as 23 78-TCDD toxicity equivalents, in some of these materials are often ord ers of magnitude higher than levels associated with pulps and papers, including those produced by recycling processes. A common homologue di stribution in these materials indicates a common source.
