Id. Fedorets et al., PARTIAL CROSS-SECTIONS FOR THE GA-71(P,N-GAMMA) REACTION AND THE STRUCTURE OF THE LEVELS OF GE-71, Physics of atomic nuclei, 56(4), 1993, pp. 436-442
The structure of the levels of Ge-71 up to the excitation energy 1.7 M
eV is studied in the Ga-71(p,ngamma) reaction at incident-proton energ
ies from 1.5 to 3.1 MeV. The cross sections for the (p,n) reaction cor
responding to single states of the final nucleus are determined from t
he yield of gamma rays. The results are compared with the cross sectio
ns calculated according to the statistical theory, and the spins and p
arities of the excited states of Ge-71 are determined. Calculations in
the dynamical collective model give a satisfactory description of the
experimentally determined properties of the levels of Ge-71.
