Abstract
Parvovirus was demonstrated in the intestinal content of diarrhoeic Af rican cheetahs by electron microscopy. The virus was isolated in a fel ine kidney cell line inoculated with a filtrate of the intestinal cont ent. Its growth characteristics, cytopathic effect, agglutination of p orcine erythrocytes, structure, and results of immunoelectron microsco pic examination were indistinguishable from those of feline panleukope nia virus.
