In a previous theoretical study, the evaporation of a preheated polydi
sperse droplet fog had been investigated at constant volume, either wi
th a constant undersaturation of the vapor or at a constant temperatur
e. In the present work, evaporation of a fog at constant volume or pre
ssure is analyzed. The phenomenon that is described - a sharp retardat
ion of fog evaporation when the initial heating corresponds exactly to
equality of the heat supplied and the heat of the phase transition (o
r the phenomenon of ''anomalous thermal stability of fog'') - is also
manifested, the same as with constant undersaturation of the vapor.
