Abstract
Fused-cast mullites containing Ti were investigated by electron parama gnetic resonance (EPR). The EPR measurements were performed at room te mperature for both X- and Q-band frequencies. Two slightly different T i3+ centres were observed, which are assigned to at least two octahedr al Ti sites in mullite with slightly different deformation.
