H. Volkmann et al., CLINICAL-ELECTROPHYSIOLOGICAL STUDIES ON THE EFFECT OF THE ANTIARRHYTHMIC DRUG AWD-G256 IN MAN, Die Pharmazie, 48(5), 1993, pp. 380-385
The effects of the new antiarrhythmic drug AWD-G256 (1) were investiga
ted by clinical electrophysiology (His bundle electrography, programme
d electrical stimulation) in 19 patients with supraventricular tachyca
rdias but without structural heart disease. In a maximal dosage of 0,4
5 mg/kg body mass 1 only minimally affects electrophysiological parame
ters of the impulse formation and conduction. At this time the therape
utic value of 1 is not clear.
