Abstract
Maleic anhydride copolymers as insoluble supports for Co(II) catatysts have been prepared. The liquid phase catalytic activity of these poly meric catalysts for the oxidation of paraffins was investigated and co mpared with that of a homogeneous monomeric analogue Co(NO3)2 + KBr. H -1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy was used to provide qualitative informati on on the oxygenated products.
