Abstract
The phase composition of fine ZrO2 and ZrO-Y2O3 powders prepared by th e process of spray pyrolysis was detected using XRD. An interesting ph enomenon has been observed. In this paper, the influence of the temper ature and carrier gas flux on the phase composition of as-prepared pow ders is described. The formation and transformation mechanisms of the powder phase in the process are also discussed.
