Abstract
The K(pi)=0- band of the parity doublet bands in Ca-40, which exhibits an alpha-cluster structure, has been observed via the (Li-6, d) react ion. As a possible candidate of the members of the band, the states fr om the 8.15 MeV, 1- up to the 12.65 MeV, 7- were observed. Furthermore , the 8+ state of the K(pi)=0+ band was observed at 10.34 MeV.
