The effect of an elastic (U = -lambda/r3) interaction between similar
particles on the kinetics of the bimolecular A + B --> 0 reaction is s
tudied for the first time in terms of a novel formalism of the many-po
int particle densities taking into account the spatial correlations of
both similar and dissimilar particles. It is shown that an elastic at
traction results in the dynamic aggregation of similar particles and t
herefore in the reduced reaction rate unusual for the standard chemica
l kinetics. The distinctive time of such aggregate formation depends o
n the initial particle concentration and on their spatial distribution
but is always considerably shorter than that for statistical aggregat
ion of similar noninteracting particles. The latter is a distinctive f
eature of the self-organization in bimolecular reactions at long times
and/or great particle concentrations. For the same value of the inter
action parameter lambda an attraction of similar particles has a great
er impact on the reaction kinetics than that of dissimilar particles.
