The existence of synchronous bilateral adrenal masses is an uncommon c
ondition except in the relatively more frequent cases of pheochromocyt
oma or metastatic tumors. Two cases of synchronous nonfunctioning bila
teral adrenal cortex carcinoma, removed during the same operation, are
described. The patients currently are receiving hormonal supplementat
ion, and were well 16 and 12 months postoperatively.
