Abstract
A pre-term baby with complex congenital heart disease was operated upo n for construction of Blalock-Taussig (B-T) Shunt. Soon after surgery the upper limb became blanched and cold. Despite conservative measures to improve circulation, limb ischaemia progressively worsened and res ulted in fore quarter gangrene. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
