Abstract
Testing the nonrandomness of breakage at a chromosome band is an essen tial step for identifying a fragile site. In this paper, we propose a method derived by using the relationship between the binomial and F di stributions for testing nonrandomness. The method is simple in calcula tion. It was applied to the detection of fragile sites for Chinese pat ients with colorectal carcinoma.
