Abstract
Two dimensional (2-D) and three-dimensional (3-D) problems of magnetiz ation for arbitrary-formed thin-walled ferromagnetic constructions are considered below. The first of the proposed methods is based on repla cement of the universal magnetic flux -balance equation for a volume e lement by the equation for a median-surface boundary element (BE). The magnetization field is approximated by the field of point charges pla ced on vertices of BE. The second method uses the point dipoles in cen ters of BE.
