Abstract
Melt-mixed blends of poly(vinyl chloride) and carboxylated nitrile rub ber (XNBR) are self-crosslinkable. The blends possess good processing safety. The blends are compatible as studied by dynamic mechanical ana lyses. The physical properties depend on blend composition and on the extent of crosslinking.
