Abstract
Temporally incoherent white light has been frequency modulated achroma tically so that in photomixing relatively narrow-band frequency-modula ted spectra have been observed. This achromatic frequency modulation c an be obtained by the use of a balanced grating interferometer with au dio or rf modulation of the vertex grating.
