It is found that static domain structure in different growth pyramids
and crystal cuts of flux-grown KTiOPO4 ferroelectric crystals can be v
isualized with high resolution and studied in detail by nematic liquid
crystal method. The domain structure decorates the peculiarities of t
he crystal growth and corresponds in the main,to the layers of growth.
Head-to-head and tail-to-tail domain walls exist due to high ionic co
nductivity of the crystal in the region of domain formation.
