Abstract
Commercial homopolymer of butyl vinyl ether was found to have reactive double bonds formed due to specific chain termination and chain trans fer processes. It is shown that butyl vinyl ether can be used as a mac romonomer in radical co-polymerization with vinyl glycidyl ether of et hylene glycol, divinylsulfide, tetravinyl ether of pentaerythritol, an d 2-vinyloxyethyl methacrylate.
