Abstract
The mechanical properties of Nylon-6 films modified with an oxyaromati c compound were studied in a wide temperature range. The effect of the oxyaromatic compound on the properties of Nylon-6 is shown to be dete rmined by the molecular organization of the modifying agent within a p olymer matrix, i.e., by the ratio between weakly and strongly bound fo rms. This ratio can be controlled either by varying the regimes of int roduction of the modifying agent into the polymer or by subsequent tre atment of modified Nylon-6 films.
