Abstract
We report on measurements of the angular correlation between inelastic ally scattered gamma-rays and the recoiling electrons in 5 mug/cm2 thi n carbon foils. The coincidence count rate is proportional to the two- dimensional electron momentum density of the target. The experiment wa s done with 100 keV synchrotron radiation from the DORIS III storage r ing at DESY, Hamburg.
