Abstract
A 6 MeV, 1300 MHz photocathode linear accelerator (linac) has been des igned and fabricated by Los Alamos National Laboratory for The Netherl ands Center for Laser Research at the University of Twente in Enschede , The Netherlands. The six-cell photoinjector linac is a brazed copper on-axis coupled structure inside a vacuum jacket with an integral vac uum bakeout system. It is a near duplicate of an accelerator which has been in service at the Los Alamos High Brightness Accelerator Facilit y since 1989.
