Abstract
We reconsider the operator-valued solutions of the Yang-Baxter equatio n and the reflection equation. We construct quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodch ikov type operators, and discussed the relationship with the MacDonald q-polynomial theory associated with the classical root systems.
