Clinical analysis of 4 polyneuropathies developed in pregnancy reveale
d that the characteristic features of the peripheral nerve lesions wer
e their development in the presence of mildly pronounced gestosis and
erythronormoblastic anemia (in all cases but one) that contradicted to
the most typical descriptions in the literature. Polyneuropathic synd
rome was also featured by the formation of severe indolent paralysis o
f extremities and manifest vegetovascular trophic lesions. Deeper sens
itivity disorders failed to be revealed, whereas superficial sensitivi
ty was compromised but insignificantly. Persistent residual paretic ma
nifestations and acroangiodvstonias were characteristic features of th
e performed observations.
