Ts. Glushchenko et al., CONTENT OF OPIOID-PEPTIDES IN THE BRAIN O F RATS WITH DIFFERENT FUNCTIONAL-STATES OF THE NERVOUS-SYSTEM IN NEUROTIZATION CONDITIONS, Biologiceskie membrany, 9(10-11), 1992, pp. 1096-1098
Two-week neurotization of two rat lines was shown to change the level
of the immunoreactive opioid peptides in the hypothalamas and midbrain
in the rats with low (line H) excitability threshold. No influence on
the opioid content in the brain in the rats with high (line B) theres
hold of excitability was observed. The possible role of the opioid sys
tem in the differentiation of the sensitivity to the long-term stress
in rats with different excitabilities in discussed.
