Abstract
The authors were interested in determining the effects of nitrous oxid e when treating highly fearful children. It was decided to focus on th e youngest age-group capable of verbally communicating with the dentis t. The authors examined the extent to which the use of nitrous oxide c ontributes to the management of behavior.
