Abstract
The microbial transformation of 2- and 3-oxo esters and diketones with Geotrichum sp.G38 and its application to the syntheses of the key int ermediates of several bioactive compounds such as (R)-denopamine 8, (R )-fluoxetine 11 and (2S,3R)-sitophilate 14 were described.
