Abstract
A total of 538 patients with transitional cell carcinoma of the bladde r with a mean follow up period of 5.8 years (range 1-25) were retrospe ctively analysed to see if there were any associations between blood g roup and grade, stage, or prognosis of the tumour. In contrast to prev ious findings among European and Americans, there were no significant differences among blood groups for stage, histological grade, or survi val rate.
