Abstract
The problems of synthesis of ET based organic metals with Hg containin g anions are discussed. Equilibrium transformations of labile anions a nd solvents play important role. The structure and physical properties of two new families of organic metals containing solvent and anion wi th Hg are studied. The influence of the anion size and the structure o f the cation layer of these salts on the M-I transition are discussed.
