Abstract
We present the results of specific heat measurements on single crystal s of C60 in (pure) fcc and (toluene containing) orthorhombic phases. T he orientational ordering phase transitions are at surprisingly close temperatures (260K and 239K) for the two polytypes. The single crystal results are compared with DSC measurements on powders.
