Abstract
The human genes encoding the interleukin 8 receptors type A and B were assigned to chromosome 2 by polymerase chain reaction amplification a nd by Southern analysis of a panel of human x rodent somatic cell hybr id DNAs. The IL8R genes were further localized by in situ hybridizatio n to band 2q35.
