Abstract
The admnistration of lithium chloride (LiCl) to mice by intraperitonea l injection caused involution in the thymus, both in the cortex and me dulla. Lithium also considerably decreased vitamin C (ascorbic acid) c ontent in all of the organs that were studied: thymus, lymph nodes, sp leen, suprarenal glands, and liver.
