Abstract
The existence of PCDD and PCDF in different media like food, forage, s oil, and air needs different criteria and yardsticks. Nevertheless an integrated approach is necessary to link the manifold assumptions for handling these media. On the basis of such an approach proposals for a ir quality standards are derived.
