Abstract
From the aerial parts of Rhinanthus angustifolius subsp. grandiflorus, a new iridoid glucoside, 6'-O-benzoylshanzhiside methyl ester, was is olated together with the known compounds, aucubin. melampyroside, muss aenoside, shanzhiside methyl ester, 8-epiloganin, gardoside methyl est er and 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethylalcohol. The structure of the new compo und was determined based on spectral and chemical analyses.
