Abstract
Six saponins were isolated from leaves and stems of Opilia celtidifoli a and their structures established. These saponins are described for t he first time in this plant. One of them is a new saponin: 3-O-[alpha- L-rhamnopyranosyl(1 --> 3) pyranosyl]-28-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-heder agenin.
