Abstract
This paper discusses how process control instrumentation users and man ufacturers are partnering to use new technology for better documentati on and more usable products. Three aspects of this close and productiv e partnering relationship are examined: (1) partnering throughout the product life cycle; (2) partnering of users with product and document developers; and (3) partnering using real-time documents.
