Abstract
The properties of abrupt plastic deformation occurring in Nb and Al at low temperature were investigated using electronic response signal me asurements. Statistical treatment of the results led to the possible c onclusion that a self-organized criticality in the system of plastic c arriers leads to the abrupt movement.
