Abstract
The molecular structure of the title compound involves a carboxylate g roup acting as a bidentate ligand to one rhenium atom, while acting as a monodentate ligand to the other rhenium atom. It was prepared in a one-step reaction by treating a THF solution of fac-(dppp)(CO)3ReCO2H with solid KOH.
