Abstract
A method of computing fission paths by the ATDHF theory of Villars, de veloped in earlier papers by the author and his collaborator, has been applied to four actinide nuclei. The calculations are fully microscop ic and use a density-dependent version of the two-nucleon effective in teraction supplemented with a residual Yukawa potential. Results are p resented in detail.
