Abstract
Electrical current for therapy (iontophoresis) has been applied to man y aspects of medicine for centuries. Many specialities are routinely u sing this technology, but its applications in urology have not been ex tensively studied. We review the literature on the uses of iontophores is in medicine, and summarize its possible applications in urology.
