From a sandy salt marsh predominantly covered by Halimione portulacoid es, at the northern coast of Bretagne (France), Bathyepsilonema spinul osum sp. n. is described and Epsilonema lasium Lorenzen 1973 is redesc ribed. These are the first records of epsilonematid species from a sal t marsh. E. lasium is the first epsilonematid species to be recorded f rom both sides of the Atlantic.
