A SCALING CORRECTION IN CLUSTER-CLUSTER AGGREGATION

A general correction term in the radius of gyration scaling law is dis cussed. The work incorporates the finite size effect considered by Bal l and Jullien (J. Phys. Lett. France 45 (1984) L1031) and is a potenti ally useful extension of their analysis to polydisperse systems. Numer ical simulations verify these results for one particular model, and de monstrate the remarkable accuracy of the scaling law, even for cluster s of very few monomers, once this relatively trivial scaling correctio n has been made.
