Abstract
A generalized formulation of the generalized moment method is used to reduce a 10th-order power system model to 4th-order. The results are c ompared to those obtained by Bandekas and Papadopoulos who recently at tempted to solve the same problem. Results obtained using balanced mod el reduction are also included.
