Abstract
The syntheses of new pi-unsymmetrical donors of the TTF family having half moiety of bis(ethylenedithio)-TTF (BEDT-TTF) and half moiety of T TF substituted with one (or two) hydroxymethyl group(s) are described and improved. Their good pi-donating ability is demonstrated by cyclic voltammetry. Two radical-cation salts (1b)2ClO4 and (1b)2ReO4, really disclose a 2-D network typical of a kappa-phase.
