Abstract
A new insulator phase in alpha-(BEDT-TTF)2I3 which is caused by the ma
gnetic field was studied through DC conductivity and the Hall effect m
easurements. We suppressed the metal-insulator (M-I) transition which
occurs at 135K by applying pressure and measured the transport phenome
na in the magnetic field. We found the M-I transition revives in the m
agnetic field. Anomalous magnetoresistance and the Hall effect related
to magnetic field induced M-I transition is discussed.
