The kinetics of penetration follow an exponential law as expected, an
d the level of amorolfine measured in the nail (at least in the upper
levels) already exceeds the MIC of most fungi causing onychomycosis af
ter only 24h of contact. After topical application amorolfine is detec
table in the nail earlier and in higher concentrations than terbinafin
e and itraconazole after oral application.
