Abstract
A thermal model has been proposed for a high power Li/SOCl2 cell with parallel plates, Internal temperature profiles in two types of cells h ave been obtained by calculations based on the model and the experimen t. Results show that model predictions are very consistent with experi mental data provided the calculations are carried out under certain co nditions.
