Abstract
The effects Of Mn, Ni, Sn, Mg, Cu or Cr impurity ions on the magnetic- thermal stability (MTS) of cobalt-epitaxial gamma-Fe2O3 recording mate rials have been investigated. The reduction of the Fe2+ concentration and the increase of the activation energy result in the improvement of the magnetic-thermal stability.
